Why not get bulbs that have the built in resistors or ones that are non hyperflash. I have them in both of mine plus I ground down the resistor in the flasher.

Bulbs with built in load resistors.

Hi everyone,

It seems there's an easy solution. According to YouTuber, he purchased bulbs with built in load resistors.

I went the same path as him. Since I have DRL, I couldn't do the new relay and didn't want to grind down the resistor on the relay. And, I didn't want to monkey with resistors and start splicing good Toyota wiring.

I ordered both of the bulbs with built in resistors and I'll report back my results. Hopefully it works!

Are you saying those bulbs should be plug and play and work with DRL too? I watched the video, and it was only the rears, but you're making it sound like the fronts will work too

Yup, they should be. And, there are several units the companies claim will work. I'm going to try them all until something works and report back. I like the ones from amazon since they have a fan and since these are using a built in resistor, there may be heat. I'm waiting on them in the mail. Once I have a solid result, I'll post.

This company: https://www.headlightrevolution.com/...ree?quantity=1

And three from AUXITO:

I’ve had the Auxito LED turn signal bulbs with built in resistors on the front and back turn signal bulbs. Plug and play and much brighter. Highly recommended.

Nice, Thanks!! Any issues with heat, or them being TOO bright? Also, did you have DRL, and if you did, do you still have them?

I went with this Amazon for the rear and this Amazon for the front. The socket on the front is different than the rear. There is no hyper flash, all plug & play. I do have DRL.

I've been running them for a few weeks, everything is working fine.

Nice, thanks for the update!
