Is there a way to manually force recirc?

There's a failed actuator and its on the fresh air setting regardless of button status.

Is it possible to poke under the dash and manually position the flap into recirc mode? Would make my AC run a lot cooler.

I think that big flapper thing that blocks off the outside air is right above the HVAC filter. Pretty sure you can see it when the filter is out. Looking in that area may help you decide how to lock it in place. Not sure if there's any other things that move on re-circ though.
