I've been using the ProClip mount over the vent for years but was never happy about it covering the air vent. Thank you for bugging them! I'll be picking one of these up!

Yeah I can't blame ProClip as the 4th gen dash doesn't give these companies much space to work with for mounts, but I think this one is done in a better way.

I found this mount by Google search yesterday and didn't notice it just came out. Do you happend to have some pictures of the back plate? I'm trying to figure out how the clamp mechanism works
