2004: Broken 4WD controller

The plastic 4WD control knob on my 2004 SR5 broke - and like an idiot I broke it worse by trying to shove the knob back on. Now the controller shaft behind the knob spins freely and the truck is stuck in 4WD HI. If anyone has a DIY for replacing the controller I'd appreciate it.

If not can someone point me to instructions just to pull the center dash panel. I figure at worst if I can access the wires that are switched by the controller I can at least get the truck out of 4WD and make it driveable while I figure out the more complete repair.

Thanks guys.

I have the panel off and the broken controller removed. It attaches to a 5 pin plug. Does anyone have the pinouts to the plug so I can at least get the truck out of 4WD and drive it around to look for parts?

Thanks again.

Seeing the switch is broken, take it apart to see if you can make it good enough to work. May mean shorting a couple contacts.
