VSC/Trac issue

Hello,
I have the following conditions: vsctrac light on, check engine light on and blinking, car drives but bumps and bounces a lot. What does this indicate and how can I fix it? Thanks.

I have a 2005 SR5 with around 250,000 miles. Have never had any other real issues with it.

Thanks

It started doing this out of the blue, or had you been working on your vehicle in any way?

A blinking check engine light usually means a severe misfire that could damage your vehicle. Possibly a bad coil pack or multiple other items could so this. That would explain the "bumps and bounces". There should be at least one code stored, have it checked ASAP.

Start by checking fluid levels, especially in the transmission and differential.
As it was said before, a blinking check engine light is often a sign of misfires. I’d suggest checking spark plugs, ignition coils, and wires. They wear out over time, affecting your engine's performance and stability control.
Also, consider issues with the ABS or wheel speed sensor.
