There's also another way instead of doing any wiring. Get 4 non hyperflash LED bulbs and modify the OEM flasher. AFAIK there are no LED flashers for 4runners with the 10 pin flashers, just the 8 pin. If you have the 10 pin ( with DRL ) remove it from the inside fuse block, you will have to drop the block as the flasher is on the backside if the block. There are 3 nuts (10mm) socket. Take off the cover of the flasher and you will see a U shaped silver resistor. If you have a Dremel tool grind down little by little, DO NOT GRIND IT DOWN TO THE POINT OF SPLITTING IT IN HALF. Keep checking your work and try the flasher multiple times until the blinkers do not hyperflash. Reassemble and you're done.
I've done this to 3 4runners now with no issues and it's free, except for the bulbs tou are changing.
