Is anyone running 255 75/17 size tires on OEM rims?

I'm curious to hear the overall impression of this size tire. I've been running Falken Wildpeak AT3 265 70/17s on OEM rims since the beginning and was thinking of running a tiny bit narrower and tiny bit taller. I have a 2.5" lift all around and slightly rub with the current set of tires on full lock. I'm on the second set of Wilkpeak AT3s and looks like AT4s are out now. Just weighing my options.

Also lmk the brand of tires you're running and pics will help!

Have a great weekend y'all.

Thanks for the information. How much lift do you have and how much rubbing on turns?

I am running 255/70 r17s with a 3 inch lift. Wildpeak at3

Have just a little bit of rubbing from the front when turning. I just need to massage some of the inner fender lining with a heat gun or cut off wheel

EDIT : 255/80 R17s

I was running the TRD Pro Bilstein kit with preload spacers and JBA UCAs, which got me 3" front/2" rear. Now I'm on an Ironman Kit, which is fine. Don't love it, don't hate it.

Also have spidertrax spacers. Only had to remove the front mudflaps. No trimming needed.

Interesting info. So you went from a 30.6" to 31.1" height tire with a 3" lift.

So put up some wrong info. Sorry was going off a photo instead of double checking.

I am running an LT255/80R17 (33.06") Wildpeak AT3

I am really happy with them. Often I am driving to work in 4-12 inches of snow before the plow guy gets to the roads or on back roads that don't get plowed frequently in the winter. They have worked out very well. I have the pictures below that show where they are rubbing and how they currently look.

Yes I do have a rake. I went with Heavy Duty rear springs for the rear because often I am pulling a camper with a RTT on the top with the cargo filled. I am considering replacing the Heavy Duty springs with regular and getting bags.

I'm on 255/80/17 (on '13 TE 4runner Wheels) and I'm lifted 2.6" on an Icon Suspension setup...I am also on 1.25" spacers to keep the track width more akin to OE and did a BMC with Metaltech's plates...it's amazing and drive like a dream!
