What do you carry for tire changes?

I've been very lucky not to have ever blown a tire while out in the boonies. Now that I'm lifted and running bigger tires, I am going places much farther off the beaten path and I am more worried than ever about the prospect of doing a tire change in the field. The stock jack is too small by itself, but I don't have any jacking points for a hi-lift to speak off so carrying one of those is useless. I'm curious how others have handled this. What do you carry?

If you don't have onboard air, I suggest an electric air pump...I actually like them better then using hoses etc. from onboard air setups...you need a jack or a really strong friend...tools, patches, air tanks, etc...even a HF impact gun is an incredibly handy tool to have in your bag!

I have a tool roll full of hand tools, including a breaker bar and 21mm socket for the lugs. For the jack, I use an Omega 3 ton bottle jack with Safe Jack extensions. I havs a 3" extension, 6" extension, flat plate attachment for lifting by the frame and a u shaped attachment to cradle/lift the rear axle for rear tire changes.

I currently carry a Smittybilt compressor, deflator, and a tire repair kit, along with the stock jack and wrench. I'm mostly worried about having an unrepairable tire and no way to lift the vehicle to put on the spare.

A bottle jack with extensions? Perfect. That's what I was hoping someone could point me to. Thanks.

Definitely check out the Safe Jack stuff. As a bonus, everything fits in the spot where the factory jack goes. I stuff the extensions in the sack for the stock jack handle stuff and it all fits in there.

Preparedness is key to handling unexpected tire changes confidently while exploring remote terrains. Alongside a reliable jack suitable for your vehicle's lifted stance, consider carrying a high-quality hydraulic bottle jack or a sturdy off-road jack with a base plate for stability. Additionally, ensure you have a lug wrench suitable for your vehicle's wheel nuts, a tire iron or breaker bar, tire repair kit, and a portable air compressor for reinflating tires. Don't forget to pack wheel chocks and gloves for safety. Safety is the key on the road, and for playing online casinos If you like games, like me, remember to check this guide https://notgamstop.com/betting-sites-not-on-gamstop / on non-gamstop betting, focusing on UK players and the importance of responsible betting and self-exclusion programs. It explores different approaches to using betting sites not on Gamstop for optimal results, highlighting the need for online casinos and betting websites to integrate self-exclusion periods.
