Dash light randomly comes and goes every so often!!

Funny dash lights come on every so often and then off. This probably happens once every 3 or 4 months and then nothing. No check engine light, it’s VSC off, skidding symbol, ABS and VSC Trac. I even pulled over and used my OBD2 scanner while the lights are on to check for codes but nothing comes up. The lights eventually go off and everything seems fine.

Is something going on that I’m not aware?? Anyone else experience this too?? My 4Runner is a 2006 V6.

I also took a picture of the dash to show which lights are on.

I'm currently having the same issue... From my quick research so far it seems most people say to replace the brake switch located behind the brake pedal. The part # for the switch looks to be "84340-69025", but please also do your own research to make sure as I'm not 100% this is the fix yet...

You need a reader that reads ABS codes. Not all of them do. This is likely a fault in the ABS system, but cant be sure until you read the ABS codes. I had something similar years ago and it was a portion of the ABS wire harness being frayed somewhere, probably from when I installed the lift and cranked on things.

This is the one I have that reads ABS.

I agree with Zero, I had similar intermittent lights when I had a wheel sensor failing. Seems if we had some humidity or rain it would show up more. I bought a Foxwell 2 way scanner and could see one sensor was not incrementing properly when the lights were on.

Check wheel speed sensors. I am betting one is just dirty enough to interrupt signal every once in a while.
