front struts

2004 v/6 2wd with 275k.
I last replaced the front struts with KYB's, supposidly factory replacement. I'm just shy of 40k on them and when i go over a speed bump, the front end bounces a few times. Too soft.
I have bilstein shocks in the rear but they don't make a complete strut assembly as far as i know.

What would be a firmer replacement without it being very stiff. I don't do off-roading, obviously. I'm looking for a complete unit so i don't have to install the cylinder. Any suggestions?

Some places will sell you assembled coilovers with your choice of springs and shocks. Or you can look for some 3rd gen Tacoma low mileage take-offs.

what rear bilstien shocks are you running?
match it with 4600 or 5100 for the front,
you can run some 2nd gen tacoma spring for the front.
