Very specific lift question re: TRD PRO coils
I have a superbly specific question and I am hoping someone here has enough experience to help me!
I have 2008 SR5, all stock, except for the front coils - I have a set of 2019 TRD PRO FOX coilovers installed (I massaged the lower control arm, fit without issues, if you're wondering ;) )
I like them, and they have a great ride etc. Not the issue.
My concern/goal is that I would like to lift my T4R an overall 3inches all around (ish).
When I installed my TRD PRO coilovers up front, I essentially "levelled" the front, and then maybe have it a teeny bit of a squat (I think the rear is just saggy at 112k miles on the click).
(An aside: I was also told that these coils would essentially be the same as installing the yellow Bilstein TRD off road coils off a Taco. Essentially a level.)
Here is where I am having my dilemma:
The most cost effective route for me, would be to buy the Eibach TRD PRO specific red coils, and install them on the Fox coilovers. (obviously I won't have the adjustability of Dobinsons or Toytec etc, as the shocks are non-adjustable, and have static perches)
The Eibach springs are rated as +1.6", on the TRD PRO application. So I would be going 1.6 inches over the "level" I did by installing them.
My confusion is as such:
Will these springs essentially net me the overall 3" lift in the front, just as though I had purchased a 3" specific lift for an SR5 4th gen?
Or will I be coming up short?
How much lift does the TRD PRO suspension provide, over an equivalent year SR5?
(I know my front end was sagging badly on the OEM struts, so there isn't really a fair way of measuring how much lift I gained from the TRD PROS and adding the 1.6 etc)
Has anyone experienced this?
I really wish I had the money to go out and just buy a full Icon or proper Bilstein/Eibach kit, however, at the moment, my lift budget is pretty darn low (under $1K), and I don't want to use spacers!
Would really appreciate input, and I apologize for the verbose post, but I want to be thorough!
TL;DR version:
Does installing TRD PRO Fox coilovers + Eibach +1.6" coils (the ones specific for the fox trd coilovers) net a total of 3" lift on an SR5 4Runner? (I guess this doesn't matter if 4th or 5th gen)
