285/70r17 on stock rims

Is it possible to run 285/70r17 ridge grapplers on stock sr5 rims? Was thinking a 2-2.5” lift.

Yes, 285 fit stock rims/wheels. I have 285/70/17 on stock wheels, with a 2.5" lift. But with 285, they will rub the upper control arms unless you push them out with wheel spacers (or a buy new wheels with better offset).

What about UCA with +3 caster like Dobinsons that have more clearance around the ball joint?

Not sure about that... even though I changed mine to SPC UCA, I never researched the space between the UCA and tire/wheel.
If it refers to 'caster', I think that's shifting the direction to the bumper or mudflap.
