Wiring

Hi there,

I live in Anchorage, Ak. I am here to try and figure out some things on my 2004 limited 4.7L 4Runner.

After I removed the running boards I installed some KC lights using the existing wires but they stay on when the car is running. They only shut off when the car is locked and off. Im not sure whats going on. Does anyone have an idea?

The other thing I am trying to figure out is I just built a steel bumper (DIY kit from NWTI/North West Trail Innovations) and I installed some KC FLEX ERA® 3 Dual Mode SAE Fog LED Light Pods. Which I used the existing fog light circuit to control the main fog light portion and then I went to connect the high beam circuit to control the spotlight on the Fog light and I realized it was ground control, does anyone have any idea on how I can use the high beam circuit as a trigger without having to put in another relay with it being ground control?
