Time has come - what should I ask?

This forum has been so useful to me as a 4Runner owner. Now I wonder if the group would offer advice on how to pass on my 4runner.

2004 V6 Sr5 4wd
260,000 miles
silver with the black rims

No accidents. The body and frame are in good shape, minimal rust. So is the interior. The engine bay is a different story - it's rusty in there and components need to be renewed.

I live in an apartment, can't do any maintenance on my own, and can't really afford to put money into the car that would keep it rock solid, let alone fun to use off-road. Someone with a wrench could make this a very worthy ride without too much investment.

How much should I ask for it? What are the best places to list it?
I'm in the Portland, OR area.

What exactly needs to be fixed in the engine compartment?
With it being an 04, the 03-05's had a head gasket issue? Did that ever get addressed or is it having that issue now?
Depending on what engine issues it has will be the the determining factor on how much you can get for it.

Engine issues are just repairing due to aging and rust. The engine has a whine to it - seems like a bearing from one of the components, otherwise the car runs very well and no issues. Head gasket has not been an issue for me. I hear from a mechanic that there is a little bit of seepage around the HG, so it should probably be done soon.

Right now I need to replace the radiator and hoses due to a leak - not a big deal mechanically, but I just don't have the time, space, knowledge to do it myself.

For anyone here to be able to give you a educated guess as to the value, we really need to see photos, especially the entire frame and any body damage and interior wear, etc.
