5th gen boots on a 4th gen axle?

I’m at 200k miles. Have a torn inner boot. Still have OEM axles. Grease looks white. Anyway, can I put a 5th gen oem boot kit on a 4th gen axle? I can’t find anything online but rumor has it the 5th gen boots are better.

4th gen kit: 04427-60142
5th gen kit: 04227-60133

I'm curious about this as well. I thought read somewhere that using the 5th gen CVs in a 4th gen is a good upgrade.
