4.7L V8 Supercharger (VVTI and non-VVTI Engine) Pics Added

Hey Guys,

I keep meaning to post pics, videos, and specs but I always seem to get side tracked.

Here are some basic details of what im running.

5-6 psi on a Rotrex Supercharger.
Fuel is being added via a 9th injector.
Timing and Fuel settings are being controlled via MAP-ECU2
Timing and Fuel Tuning are done by me ;).

Ive had this setup since July for about 8k miles now with no problems.

Check back often as I will update this thread.

Pics finally!

I have yet to get the truck dynoed as I am having a hard time find a reputable dyno shop that has an awd dyno. I am estimating that the kit has increased hp output by 100 rwhp mark brining my truck upto the 325+ awhp mark.

Originally the kit was intended to be a one of a kind kit. I had a friend, Rob Welsh, send me a custom s/c bracket he had made for the tundra and modified it to fit the 4runner. He did most of the fabrication, while I did the eletronics for timing and fuel.

I apologize for being very vague, but at the time I was testing, I wanted to keep things quiet but make sure that the interest levels for such a kit would remain So hopefully you wont hate me too much.

The kit will be released under the company UZFE Performance. This is a company that Rob and I have started to address the lack of parts available to the 4Runner,Tundra, Sequioa, and GX470 crowd.

Also, please be aware this will not be the production model as we've had to change some items.

Upload them to some website/host and use multiple IMG /IMG tags.

I too would like to see more of this!

Edit: If you get really stuck, you can email them to me at bernseatyahoodotcom and I'll host/upload them for you.

hmm... I'll be honest: I'm a little disappointed to see a non-intercooled centrifugal supercharger... But at least it's a step in the right direction.

good stuff.

how does the butt dyno feel?

I see a possible TMIC being fitted in there, which would then make our hood scoop functional for cooling afterall.

The truck pulls really hard. I'll be uploading some videos shortly that show a side by side comparison of a supercharged 3.4 liter 2003 Tacoma with full fuel mods versus my truck (these tests were done on a closed road ).

I had previously thought about adding a TMIC, but ruled it out as an option after measuring under hood temps.

Look what else I have in my hands also.

I dont know if Ill end up using it or not .
