Is the 4Runner your daily driver?
Is the 4Runner your daily driver? If not what is? When do you drive the 4Runner? I've just been curious about this since the price of gas is so high. Just to let you all know that it is my daily driver.

Got 14 year old beater for door dings and shopping carts. Don't know if the 4R will ever become a DD, my commute to work is public transit. $25 a day for parking and the same amount of time to get through city traffic as the bus, I'll just ride the bus--I can sleep for once while someone else drives.

My Sport is my DD. The SR5 use to be my DD but gave it to my wife when I got the scoop. Both runners are DD's.

Yes... My 3rd Gen is my daily and only driver. At 20mpg... I doesnt pay getting a second more fuel efficient car to use as a daily driver... after costs of car, maintenance, and insurance, there is no cost savings.

Yep, my daily driver. I'm 19 in college so I don't have to drive far for school or work so 95% of my driving is city. Only drive the freeways when im going snowboarding or to a mall that's 10-15 miles away, so it's a bit hard on the mpg

I go about 3-5 miles to school. My work and girlfriends house are both about 3 miles away. That's most of my driving. Get about 13.5 on the display, when I figure it out manually next fillup it will probably average about 14-16 mpg.

My xB is my daily driver. I didn't buy the xB due to gas prices. I had an '04 but got rid of it to get my T4R. I missed the original xB and I don't like the new 2008 xB design so I bought an '06.

My Daily Driver is my 22+ year old VW Golf. Gets about Double the MPG my 4Runner does for the work commute.
That helps balance out the 8-9 mpg I get when towing.
The 4Runner gets the call to duty for towing my trailer, trips out of town and sloppy winter weather.

My GX is still my primary daily driver, but I bought this Spyder recently to serve as my new commute pod on warm sunny days, which is usually at least a couple days a week here in Fla.

How do you guys manage to afford a new 4Runner and go to school I am jealous. On topic though, my 4runner is most definitely my DD during the winter. When summer comes around, I trade it for my '90 Toyota Corolla SR5 coupe.... Gotta love >40MPG.
