Decals on Rear Window Outside

I wanted to put a decal on the rear window of my 2004 Sport. Will the decal last or will the rubber flange scrape it off over time as I put the window up and down?

The decal is a fish, if that affects your answer.

Is it a fish with the little legs or without?

{Sorry.....I could not resist!}

I dont have any problem with the stickers on the back window of my 4runner. Just be sure to use a credit card to make sure the sticker is down on the edges.

I had a magnaflow and currently have a T4R.org one on there and they both held up pretty well on the back glass.

i had a 3D browning buck decal on my rear window and that tore right off, switched to to a non 3D one and its lasting fairly well. i also have a DU logo decal and its starting to peel from going up and down and it has torn pretty badly, but i think that is because I put it on poorly

It works for some and not for others. I guess it is worth a try as I already have a decal on the rear driver side window. I also wonder whether the rear window defrogger will accelerate it coming off.

Jeff, it was the one without legs. The one with legs got away.

ive had 2 decaks fall off. they were the printed on clear type. I have never tried the die cut. But, i think it all depends on how often you use your window.

Putting the window down doesn't scrape the dirt off, and the sticker must be attached much better than the dirt.

I had a Clemson "C" decal that kept wanting to peel off every time I used the rear window so I thought about how I was going to raise the flange above the decal. At the time I was packing boxes and it hit me to put a little bit of tape on the decal and cut off the unwanted tape off with a blade. And it worked perfectly.
