What Can I Expect?

Hey Guys~

Looking to purchase the following:

2004-2007 4Runner
Rear Spoiler(Must)
4wd(Must)
V-6 (Must)
SR5
AC
Cloth seating
30,000 miles or less

What price should I be expecting to pay for this? Im guessing $24,000. How far am I off?

I am looking to trade my 2001 4Runner in for $12,000, which I am almost positive I can do.

Thanks for the advice.

Sounds about right for my area, although 30k miles is going to be hard to call because i don't see many around here with low miles.

How many miles on the 3rd gen?

I would consider the spoiler as optional because it can be added at a very low cost afterwards. Most spoilers are port installed options anyway.

2005-2007 are the 5 spd transmissions, 2004 is the 4 spd tranny, so you might get some break on the '04 model, but the mileage could be higher.

24k is probably about right. If you allow for higher mileage you could reduce your price a bit, but you are in the ballpark.

I just bought an '06 two weeks ago that matches what you are looking, well it did have 32k miles on it, for $23,600, before tax, tag, title, etc.

.
I think the spoiler is a regional thing, for the most part. In my area (Southern NY), it's very rare to find a 4Runner without a factory-installed spoiler. And it's almost impossible to find a Sport Edition with it.

I thought the SE's had the spoiler as standard equipment.

Here in Boston, most SR5's do not come with the spoiler, so many people add it if they want it.

I meant to say it's almost impossible to find a Sport Edition without it. Sorry for the confusion.

But I don't think it's standard on the Sport because I have seen them without the rear spoiler... just not in my region.

Definitely depends on region. I see many sport editions without the spoiler around here. The newer design 2006+ all have the spoiler it seems (SR5, limited, sport)

Thats what i got from when i was looking for a 4runner.

You could get an 05+ V6 4WD for $24k all day long.

Yo P-Nut~

How about at night?

No, in all seriousness, mileage is the make or brake in this determination and you know it.
