Headlight bulbs

I have a noob question.

Where is the best place to buy headlight bulbs online?

Also, does anyone know how bright the bulbs that come standard on the 4Runner? I definitely want to get some brighter bulbs.

Last question, how hard/easy is it to change the bulbs?

Thanks.

For OEM halogen replacement, I'd go with these:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...ce/Silverstar/

They are probably the best out there for Halogen bulbs. Although they may not last as long as your conventional bulb, they sure beat the light output.

Installation is cake. All you have to do is unscrew the bulb holder, pop in the new bulbs, and twist em back in. The driver side may need the battery to be removed, but if you've got small hands, you should be fine.

I had set of Silverstars that lasted about 3 years and I just upgraded to Ultrastars and even those a re a tad brighter than the regualr ones and are a solid imporvement over OEM bulbs. Their wet weather performance could be better but my Optilix Xenon yellow bulbs in the fogs help that out a lot.

Try here for a lot of options.

i found these piaa bulbs for $90. sounds little high, but if they're brighter they may be worth it.

what do y'all think?

It's comes down to personal preference in the end. If you think the Piaas are worth it, buy em. Since your asking, I'd stick with getting a set of Sylviastars.

If more light output is what you need, look into HIDs. Just make sure you do your research before you just slap on a HID kit and call it a day. PM me if you need details.
