Question V8 front springs in a V6

[size=large]I have "searched" and read a great deal of great info about lifts.

I want to do a very mild level to the front and leave the rear stock (except for the AirLift 1000). Most of the info is geared towards more radical results than I want. I am considering a Cornfed 1" spacer style lift. Just on principle I would prefer to do it with springs (I think). The OME's would do more than an inch (or so) at the wheelwells. From reading I discovered the stock V8 springs are the same as my V6 springs except 5mm longer. I think these might work as an alternative to the Cornfed 1" spacers.

Any thoughts or opinions? Has anyone tried it?

Thanks

Well I've continued to study and have come up with the V8 springs will do little or nothing compared to the V6 FJC springs. I'm leaning towards a set of those. I'll look for some almost new ones. We have a couple of 4wd shops around and a few spring lifted FJC's. Maybe they'll have something.
