Poll: V8 owners only - Do you spit pieces of rubber all over V6 SUV's?
Or are you nice about it?

Don't spit pieces of rubber, but I do sometimes watch as they fade in my rear view mirror.

The V8 is just a tick quicker in the 1/4 mile than a V6 but it tows much more so let's not see the V8 guys get a big head when the RAV4 is killing them at the drag strip.

If we are talking about other SUV's with V6's then yes, but when we are talking about V6 4Runners, the time difference is too small to let it go to our heads.

It is not the size of the engine. It's how you use the engine.
BTW: That excuse always worked for me.

Nah, the V6 guy's are are allright in my book, the only 4runner I've had the pleasure of going up against was another V8 and with mine being supercharged I pulled away like he was standing still. What was priceless; was the look on the guy's face last week in a skyline GT. I don't think he expected to get smoked by a SUV! He wouldn't even make eye contact with me after. LOL

I have yet to run against another 4runner. I can pull away from a lot of vehicles in it though. My wife was driving it once while I was behind her in my truck. Went by her like the wind......Of course my truck took a Mustang Gt door to door, and I had 2 clicks left on my Six-Gun. Let's just say all it took was two clicks to get him pretty upset. I would be upset two if I was taking my girlfriend for a ride in my new muscle car and an 8500lb. truck just blew my doors off! Back to the 4-runner, I tried to break the tires loose, but have only been successful on slightly wet pavement. And they didn't stay broke for long, hooked right back up.

Hate to birst your bubble but the Skyline buddy was driving had to be a piece of crap or something. I have a 2008 v8 runner and it could not hold a candle to a Skyline a buddy of mine at work has. It is an older one that he imported into Canada from Japan...The thing is re****ed fast....It is such a sleeper too....It doesn't look like anything really and it would eat 5 litre mustangs etc for breakfast...totally unreal how crazy it is...
Cheers
