Wheel Bearings

I had posted earlier that I took the 4Runner to the dealership addressing a bearing-like "hum". I just heard from the dealer, says that the front right and left rear wheel bearings need to be replaced. I have the 4.7 V8, AWD. If I am correct, front and rear diff's are open and the center diff w/EBD acts like a LSD. If this is correct, power would be going to right rear and left front wheels under normal circumstances. Why would the "non-powered " wheels have the bearings lunched? Do the wheel bearings need to be both replaced, per axle? No bent rims, bubbled tires. Tires are road force balanced and filled with nitrogen, rotated every 5, 000 mi. 36, 000 miles on Yoko Geolanders, G-51 HT/S, stock size.
By the way, they will be covered under the Toyo Platinum Extended Warranty, WOO HOO!!!.:awais:

I'm sorry to hear you're having these challenges but you're quite the poster child for the Platinum warranty! I want one now...
