How's this.....I broke my Sienna's mirror again (don't ask, really stupid) so I go to my local dealer and he gives me the price of ~$262. And then after I tell him what happened and that I just replaced it 2 months ago he says he can be a nice guy and give me 10% off, all said with taxes it was $250. I go to partznet this weekend and get it from them for $177!!!!!!!!!
That is $75!!!!! And I'm sure Partznet is still making a good profit. It pays to shop aroung when your talking Toyota parts.

Partznet
I been saying all along these guys are good: 800 #, the best price, & great service. Ripped at the dealer today, or on your porch, cheap, in 2 days. Easy choice. :bandito:

Just looked at their site for oil filters, no numbers just say oil filter. I want to know which filter they are going to send me. So I guess you need to call them to get that information.

Oil Filters
That is correct when considering oil filters. You have a coupla choices; I talked with Steve @ Partznet, & he knew the differences in the filters, and their part #s.

What choices are you talking about? Is there more than one correct oil filter for a V8?

Oil Filters
I've read threads - with pics - here about this. Extra capacity, with, or without, check valve, etc. I've only changed my oil once. When I do it again I wuz gonna get my head back in it. That & install my Futomo [sp] Valve.

I think I read the same thread. Maybe Ian startd it. But anyway when I went and asked about the different part #'s they said the one superceded the other or something like that. If you get any definitive answers on this subject I'd love to hear them. Please keep us posted.

Airheads
Yeah, I will. I think I like the idea of a check valve fiter, unless I hear something to the contrary.
That's another good thing about doing biz with somebody [Partznet] you trust - you pretty well eliminate the occasional dingbat who gives you the wrong part....or worse yet, acts like they know something they don't.
Kinda like taking [driving] directions from a girl! I feel like I'm lost every turn I take! I think I'm still a little traumatized from driving in New York City last week! Wotatrip! [the w is for "where!"]

Why not use some Silicone caulking?? Should be easy to apply to fill in the holes and remove if necessary.

So has anyone found out if Toyota makes plugs for the other holes on the wheel wells? If so, got part numbers. If not, what did you do to fill these holes?

For the smaller holes I went to home depot and looked in the screw section. They had some white plugs that fit perfectly. I used the Toyota plugs fort he bigger holes.

dealer rip off
Don't get me started on the dealer ripping me off.
I needed to replace my cabin a/c filter. I asked their price while getting an oil change: $34 each was the part person's reply.
$34!
I told him I could order it online for $16. He immediately matched it.
Bastards.
I feel pity for the little old ladies who get ripped by these cartel members.
I would have paid $20 each should that have been the dealers original standard price. I support brick and mortar business whenever possible. But cold hard gouging is unacceptable.
Again, bastards.
