XREAS rear height sensors

Hi all,

It seems that our truck is often in the "high" level in the rear suspension. Also it will start adjusting for no particular reason so I'm guessing the height sensors need to be cleaned / replaced. Has anyone cracked open the height sensors to clean / service the contact points, etc? I'm not getting any error indicator lights yet but I am sure they are just around the corner. The compressor seems to work fine when operated manually.

Thanks in advance!

XREAS and Rear Air Suspension

Actually the XREAS and the Rear Air Suspension systems are totally seperate from each other.

You can get a 4Runner with either both systems or only the XREAS. All 4Runners that have the Rear Air Suspension also have the XREAS but not the other way around.

The issue you are describing relates to the Rear Air system.

My 4Runner only has the XREAS system so I can't offer any advice.

Snap, thanks a lot for the clarification...this truck has more onboard systems then my M Coupe! Any way I'm going to pull the sensors this weekend as they are easily located and crack them open.
