Spidertrax Backordered, Will They Fit Without?
I have my lift and my wheels just sitting at my house and it is killing me.
Its a 3" toytec spacer lift with 18x8.5" wheels and the tires will be 275/70R18 toyo mud terrains. The wheels are 8.5" wide and have a +18mm offset. The tires are 33.6" tall and 11" wide.
The reason I have been waiting is because spidertrax is backorderd until the end of july, and I dont want to install the lift and then have to drive around with stock tires for a month because the wheels and tires wont fit.
So, I have a few questions.
First, does anyone have anything similar to this that can say for sure whether it will rub without wheel spacers?
Second, what is the width and offset of the stock wheel?
And third, does the lift affect where the upper control arm will rub? Basically what I am getting at is can I go get the wheels and tires put on with no lift, and if it fits, will it fit once the lift is installed? Or will the control arm (and other components that would rub due to wheel offset and width) move with the lift, therefore coming into contact with the wheel or tire in a different location?
Thanks.
