Hey, guys, one quick question~
I noticed the indicating light, "A/C" was blinking this morning. I turned it off and turned it back on, and it stopped blinking and everything was normal again.
The reason I noticed was that I felt the air was not cold anymore.
I checked the manual and it says there is a problem with the air conditioning system. Just trying to get an idea what I might have here before hitting the shop.
Thanks in advance.....
It's the magnetic clutch relay. It's about a $65 part, replace that and the blinking AC light will go away and AC will work normally. There's also a TSB out for it. IIRC, it's mostly on early 2004 (most are 2003 production models) and earlier Toyotas.
Alternatively, I think it was the fog light fuse that some members here have swapped over with the faulty AC one to get by and have AC in the interm.
