Question Headlight Question on my UR

Just noticed that there's no headlight bonger. I left the lights on and it didn't tell me when I took the key out and opened the door... what's the trick here?

Because you have Auto Off Headlights...

It turns off in like a minute.

If you had your parking lights on, once you turn off the engine & open the Driver door, it'll turn off instantly.

If you left your headlights on after you turn off the engine...you can press LOCK twice & it'll turn it off right away.

A-HA! I guess I should read that big heavy paper thing in the glove box. Thx!

Now to get used to the truck doing that for me... nice in case one forgets one's lights I suppose.

thats a good feature and all...but i just have a habit of always looking back at my car (maybe its cause shes so purty i like to look at her as much as possible) so ive never ever left my headlights on.

having HID's its bad to use that auto feature, if the light switch is set to on when you go to start the car, the extra burst of current can blow your HID's if you have them. [so ive been told]
