TRD Wheel/Tire Package for '03 4Runner
Have any of you seen this package?
18" x 9" Wheel/Tire Package for Toyota Tundra, Sequoia and 4Runner. Aluminum constructed and finished in brilliant silver, the 8-spoke TRD wheel features a carbon-fiber style center cap with TRD logo. Matched with the wheels are Michelin Cross-Terrain tires (P275/55R18).
On toyotaparts4u.com it is $1995, seems a bit costly to me though...what do you guys think

Do you think they're the ones in the pic in this thread? Unfortunately, there's not a wide-angle shot. If this is them, then they look pretty decent.

Do you have a direct link to the package?

I've seen those for sale on Ebay for $1500. There was also a 20 inch copycat wheel and tire package for around 2000. Do a search for TRD - wheels/tires section.
ALso, any GM wheel will fit your truck, as long as the centre bore is 108 mil.
Marco.

Check it out!
I found these on Ebay:
$960 w/o tires free shipping.
They are also being sold by a TOYOTA dealer, so no fly-by-night here.

Mine came with the sport 17" wheel and the Michelin cross terrains, I guess I don't see the benefit going from a 17" to an 18" , would this help or hurt the handling that Toyota has designed into our 4runners? Seems like it would really hurt any off road and make the on road ride harder and stiffer. I think if I had that kind of extra $$$ I would spend it on the TRD dual exhaust. Anyone drive one with the 18" wheels and what are your impressions?

My truck has 20" wheels on it....
Yup, you are 100% correct that you can forget about off-road.
However, I was really suprised by how the ride was still really nice!
Dont get me wrong, the 17" wheel/tires are still softer and more quiet, but I'm really impressed with how well the truck responded to the tire/wheel upgrade.
