BFG AT on 17in Wheels

I have an '06 SR5 with 17in alloys. OEM tires are 265/65-17R tires. BFG doesn't make their ATs in 265/65-17. Is there another size BFG AT that will fit the 17in wheels, without adding a lift?

That's just what I need!! So how do you like the 265/70's and the ATs? How do they ride? Any difference in mileage, performance?

I'm still running stocks.

265/65/17 Bridgestone Dueler H/T

I was driving by & saw that this guy's Sport looked like he had bigger tires & it looked meaty, so I dropped by & stared haha.

Low & behold...he upsided his tires, so I took out my camera & snapped away.

I bring my camera everywhere...sometimes I think I'm dating my camera!!

When it's time to replace my tires, I'm going w/ 265/70/17 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo

I use to work at Wheel Works & I know BFG KOs are noisy & ride rough. However...a lot of people don't mind it, because of the performance you get out of them.

12,000 miles on mine and they still ride really nice!

http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...threadid=32230

Gas mileage may have decreased by 0.5 mpg, but I am still averaging over 20 mpg each tank in the spring/summer.

Best part is now I never slip in almost any condition. They do take a lot of weight to balance though.

They used to be really bad when they had 3 ply steel belted sidewalls. Now they have replaced 2 of the plys with kevlar which makes them less noisy and almost the same ride as stock. Honestly, no one has noticed a difference from inside my 4Runner in the past year.

I was looking at TireRack.com. I guess they just don't carry that size.

Those are over $50 more per tire than TireRack's 265/70R17s. I wonder if they are considered a "special application" size or something.

Do a search on the Nitto Terra Grappler here on the forum. I just put on a set from 4wheelparts ($132 a tire). They are awesome looking, drive great, quiet, grippy, and took almost no weight to balance unlike the stock Dunlops...

I'm BLOWN AWAY. I was under the impression they did not make that size at all. $235 is very expensive, but there are numerous threads on this board stating that the BFG TA KO is not made in 265/65/17. Strange.
