45k mile service
I just booked my 45k mile service in NY for my 05 4Runner for $500. Am I getting ripped off? They babbled off a bunch I things that will be done... Not sure if they are over charging me. Can others share their experience?

Sometimes there is a BIG difference between the services recommended by the dealer versus what the manufacturer recommends.

The following is a link to what the Manufacturer recommends for your model year and mileage... http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com...=2005&int_id=9

You might want to compare what the dealer recommends versus this web page or the manufacturer service document that should have come with your 4Runner.

Personally, I always make sure my dealer performs the maintenance services that are specified by the Manufacturer.
