The plug in connector for the LED Assembly is located at the left (drivers) side in the spoiler. You cannot reach it from the opening where the LED Assembly mounts in the spoiler. You need to unbolt the spoiler from the body to access the connector.

Has anyone tried the Spoiler Depot's (Spoiler Lights - Replacement Spoiler Brake Lights - Spoilerdepot.com) LED center brake light replacement? Also has anyone just cut the wires and soldered the wires?

LED solder joint is bad
My 3rd brake LED light went bad. The wimpy solder joint is to blame and unfortunately, I broke the lense trying to get the lens and light body apart. Ugh. I don't see any way around buying a new one now. My local dealer quoted $270.00. The link above showed $143.25. Damn.

always get oem, even tho the cost is more, the fit and quality is better. thats why i went to partznet and order. try trdparts4u
