Rubbing issue Help please.

Hey guys, I have an 04 LTD with a 2.25 spacer on the front and 2" spacer on the rear. I also have Sequoia Wheels with 265/70/17 with spidertrax spacer. I am rubbing on the back side of the wheel well frame area. I only rub when turned hard. Do you think the 3" spacer is the soultion?

thanks for you help!

Did you do any cutting when you installed the aforementioned equipment?

any chance you can take a pic where the tire is rubbing?

Without knowing where its rubbing, it is a crapshoot. I'm thinking either your alignment needs some caster added back, or the combo of spidertrax and the offset of the sequoia wheel are causing the rub at full lock. It depends on where the rubbing is taking place as to what I'd recommend to fix it.

I ran 265/70 with no lift or rubbing.

A 4-wheel alignment can't be done for the 4Runner. It has a live axle in the rear.

Yes, just the front wheels. To align the rear is a big deal. It's something a bodyshop could do (post crash) by tweaking the chassis on a frame machine.

Correct, only the front can be aligned. I just wanted to point that out in case the alignment shop has prices of a two and four wheel alignment. Don't let them try and sell you on a four wheel alignment.

Also could be a combination of the offset on the Sequoia wheels AND using a spacer is why its so tight. Usually people do one or the other .

Glad the alignment fixed it though.

Any pics of it ?
