Finally installed my extreme aire magnum air compressor into my 4runner from my last truck. I didn't bother with the air tank, relay and switches- just an on/off switch and a flow through air chuck so it doesn't over pressurize. I just plan to air up tires with it. If I want to use air tools later on, I can put that stuff in.
Just barely fits! Used 5/16" bolts with a 1/2 piece of fuel line on each to act as a rubber mount.
That is awesome! Thanks for posting. I blew out (bad pun) my last air compressor airing up after the Hell Hole trail. Honestly, it wasn't all that good of a compressor to begin with, but after 4 tires that I had down to 22 lbs, I think I over heated it! I was just on Target website looking at other small AC plug in compressors, so me finding your post makes me think I should save and do it the right way!!
