another VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF post... i used the search button BTW

so before i get yelled at, yes i did use the search button and it only came up with three results... anyway i think my situation is pretty unique so here it goes:

about a week ago my CEL and VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF lights came on, (yes i am aware of the fact that the VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF lights come on when the CEL is on)... anyway i pulled the code with my scanner and it gave me a code of P0430... and through using the "search" button i found a post that told me the cause is probably a loose gas cap... i re-tightened my gas cap and 75 miles later CEL gone! (yay!)... now here is the problem (sorry for taking so long to get to the problem), all my indicator lights light up on intial start up and my dash is clear, and i shift into drive or reverse and as soon as i move a few feet VSC TRAC and TRAC OFF lights come on, no CEL, just VSC lights... i don't feel any performance/change in the way the 4runner drives, its just annoying having that light on...

has anyone encountered this? how can i get those lights to turn off... i hope someone can help... this forum has helped me avoid the STEALERSHIP and i hope to avoid making a trip over there...

If it ran a while with the CEL & VSC lights on it may need a zero point calibration. Is that what you found?

I GOT SOMETHING FREE FROM THE DEALERSHIP

SO I JUST WANTED TO UPDATE THE 132 THAT VIEW THIS THREAD AT THE TIME A WROTE THIS REPLY... I PERFORMED THE ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS I FOUND IN THIS LINK...
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...threadid=32818

AND I CALLED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND ASKED THE PARTS DEPARTMENT FOR THE JUMPER WIRE AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DO NOT SELL TOYOTA TOOLS. SO I CALLED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND I TOLD THE ADVISOR WHAT I NEED AND HE KEPT PUSHING A DIAGNOSIS IS NEEDED, HOWEVER I KEPT ON INSISTING THAT HE LET ME USE THE JUMPER WIRE IN FRONT OF HIM... SO LONG STORY SHORT I WENT THE DEALERSHIP AND DID THE CALIBRATION AND THEY LET ME USE THE JUMPER WIRE FOR FREE...

I THINK TO GET YOUR DEALER TO DO IT FOR FREE, YOU HAVE TO EMPHASIZE THAT IT ONLY TAKES 2 MINUTES THAT IS THE TOTAL TIME IT TOOK ME!!! JUST WANTED TO SHARE THE GOOD NEWS
