I just bought weathertech in channels for my 4runner, but am not home to install them yet.........but, I was assuming that the way they install that all contact will be with the outside of the window, and not contacting the inside w/ the aftermarket tint.....

Hmmm....got me wondering now if my tint will be getting trimmed up after a while.

I see your sig. has vent visors, are you having this problem with yours?

that picture doesn't have vent visors i just got them today and since they go up in the seal it presses the tinted side tight up against that rubber when you roll it up so i was just curious if after a while it would start wearing down

the last vehicle I had with aftermarket tint had about a 1/4 inch around the edge of the window with no tint on it where it would meet the rubber; maybe your installer can trim it this way (or you) if you have not had the tint installed yet.

my tint is already on... and they used a computer cutter so the tint goes maybe 2 millimeters from the edge

That's how mine is. I'm glad he did it like that now.
