I would just like to say that I just had a very pleasant dealership experience and would like everyone to know about it. Here's the story. My wife and I have an '05 SE V-8 that we bought used with 33000 miles on it 6 months ago. Right away after taking delivery of the vehicle we noticed the horrendous exhaust odor and the annoying driveline clunk. Thanks to this forum, I had all of the information I needed to go to the dealer and have these problems rectified. When I took the Runner to Camelback Toyota the first time, I had a bad experience with one of their service advisors who refused to even look at my vehicle and said that since I bought the truck used there was nothing he could do for me. He told me that the VIN of the Runner fell outside of the range listed in the TSB. I left very discouraged. I posted on this forum about the trouble I was having with the cats. On e fo the forum members from Phoenix recommneded I go back to Camelback Toyota and talk to Chris Mill. He was absolutely amazing!!!! He immediately took the vehicle back and had the smell verified by a tech. He then immediately ordered the cats and scheduled the truck in the day after the cats arrived from backorder. He had my vehicle done by noon as promised. If you are having issues with one of the local dealers, take it to Camelback Toyota, and talk to Chris. He genuinely cares about taking care of his customers!!
