Roof rack for a 2007 SR5

Anyone know where I might be able to find a used roof rack? (standard or sport model)

Mine did not come with one. I think it is the only one on the planet.

The rack is about $500 from the Toyota dealer and that is just too much for my budget.

Thanks

What about a rack from Thule or Yakima? They should have towers to fit the factory roof-rack tracks. What are you planning to use the rack for?

I'm interested in roof rack discussion as I plan to buy my 4Runner here in the next 2 wks. I have complete Thule/Yakima set-ups in my attic so I hope to be able to cobble together a suitabe rack for my needs.

I don't think the 4th Gen's have tracks like the 3rd Gens's did...
I would look in the direction of Yakima. They have roof tracks that you could mount and then add towers and bars. It would far more functional and stronger than the factory racks. But it's up to you if you like that look or not.

Thanks for the advice. I actually checked into the Yakima racks, and even though I will be carrying stuff occasionally, I have to say it is more about the look than the function. I just can't see the Yakima rack by itself looking very attractive.
