Xreas is leaking!!!

Whats up everybody? I just noticed today that my front passenger shock is leaking out fluids. Now I have no choice but to finally LIFT IT and get rid of the Xreas and go with a full suspension setup.

I cant decide on which setup to pull the trigger on. Either ICON, SAW or Toytec. The cheapest one in price is the Toytec setup at about $800 from Wheeler's. ICON's are a bit pricey, but they do look good.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Well if you were thinking of lifting it anyway, I would say just go ahead and lift it and scrap XREAS. Judging by your sig, your 4R should still be under warranty and you should have Toyota fix it.

Old Man Emu (OME) also seems to be a popular lift with 4R/LC/FJ owners which is about the same price as Toytec but much less than coil overs.

Yeah, I agree...get it fixed under warranty unless you are over the miles and your warranty is expired.

Besides, you can still lift with XREAS, but not too radically. XREAS and a mild lift is a great combo because you still get the handling benefits of the XREAS along with the lift.

There is no way a 2008 should already have leaking XREAS, I would bring it to the dealer.

And I am at over 3 inches with my XREAS and it still works great.

If you go with a lift I vote for OME. I had a great experience with a 2" OME lift on my old truck. Pretty much bullet proof.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. Its not like I'm gonna be doing alot of offroading anyway. I just wanted some bigger tires on the runner. Thanks for the suggestion.
