Daystar Lift on sketchy suspension

Alright I want to put a Daystar 2.5/1.5 lift under my T4R but I have a few concerns. My T4R has been wrecked in the rearend and Im pretty sure a cheap spring and shock was put back in place. So my suspension feels soft and my runner tends to bounce around with moderate body lean. I have a feeling the Daystar will just magnify this problem and to lift my T4R I should instead replace the entire suspension with a suspension lift. Problem with doin a complete lift i.e OME 3" is I dont have the funds to do so. What are your thoughts on my situation??

I'd say you're thinking right. An OME or Toytec is probably the right answer.

Raising the C.G. will certainly amplify the lean and maybe the bounce to some degree.

I personally would start at a shop that specializes in "FRAME AND AXLE" repair shop , not an alignment shop or a car X or even the dealer. go to a specialist !!!!! Atleast see where you stand before you do anything. If stuff is off and not aligned or slightly bent or whatever ..... stuff will be off not matter what and not having proper align will not be good.

I think what Falls is trying to say is that anything you do to the truck that moves mass away from the center line of the vehicle will amplify any tendencies to bounce and roll. If your frame is not straight then anything you do will probably have an exponential effect as nothing would be able to be tuned within spec. It makes it all that much harder to get the wheels aligned properly then too and keep the truck safe after modification.
