Spidertrax Wheel Spacers Installed

I just got back from Slee Off-Road where I bought a set of Spidertrax wheel spacers. I had them install them because I don't have a floor jack or a torque wrench so it was worth the $50 to have them do it. I had already moved the wheel well liner up and done some dremel trimmer per J.A.'s write-up on his website, so I have not experienced any rubbing yet.

Sorry for the poor quality cell phone pics, but here is a straight on, low angle shot.

The spacers give it a much better stance without it looking too wide. From the side, it also makes the tires look a bit wider because it now fills out the wheel well and fender flares much better. So, below are a series of pics from bone stock to where I am now. I'll hopefully be getting a full suspension lift sometime later in the summer and possibly move up to 285's at the same time.....

Bone stock.....

265/70/R17 Revo's added.....

1" Toytec front spacer lift added.....

Spidertrax wheel spacers added.....

As you can tell by the progression, they are all pretty subtle changes individually, but the end product looks much better than stock. I have a few better pics, but I wanted to show the apples-to-apples comparison with my crappy cell phone pics in my driveway to keep everything in perspective.

Looks good, but I would have left the white letters out on the Revos. Especially on your color, I think it looks too plain with solid blackwalls.

I don't think the white letters look bad facing out, but I prefer the cleaner look of the all black. Speaking of "clean", white raised letter tires get scuffed and dirty over time (especially if you off-road). I think the white raised letters look better on classic 4-wheel drive trucks like old Broncos, Jeeps and LC's. I'm not as big a fan of the white raised letters on newer trucks like my 4R.

They do get dirty, but I just hit mine with some Soft Scrub and a bristle brush. Cleans 'em up fast and leaves them white again.

I have used a product called Bleech White for over 20 years and it always brings white letters looking new again.

Bleech White and a scrub brush for me anytime over any tire cleaner on the market.
