new spark plugs, what type?
i was wondering what you guys thought was the best replacement plug available.

2005 4runner sport, Radflo 2.5 coilovers, 3" rear springs, 1" body lift, Perkins front bumper, CBI rear bumper w/swing out, shrockworks sliders, full bud built skids, smitty xrc8 winch with in cab switch, 4.56 gears, rear ARB locker, on board air w/2.5 gallon tank, dual blue top batteries, total chaos UCA's, toy outfitters rear UCA's, all pro rear LCA's, total chaos adjustable panhard, atx artillery wheels and 305/70/17 Goodyear mt/r's, afe intake, probably some other stuff too

I'd just go with the OEM Denso or NGK. The 4th gen 4Runner typically comes with both brands installed from the factory. NGKs on the left side of the engine and Densos on the right side of the engine.

should i run the same setup or just six of one type

Go with all Densos, they wear better.

Any idea what the reason is for that?

No one knows. Toyota has been doing this for a long time. If you search the threads, you will find this issue already discussed under the maintenance section.
