Yeah, it looked good, but even though we chopped up the front bumper, the fenders, the pinch weld, some frame near the body mount, AND shaved down the stock upper a-arms, it STILL rubbed enough to make regular street driving uncomfortable. It was many years ago, but I think that at the time I was running about 4.5" of lift (do NOT recommend the setup i had).

My setup now is much better:
OME lift 886/N140S front, 896/N141 rear
Total Chaos uniball UCAs
1.25" 4Crawler Offroad BL
4Crawler Offroad Sliders
CBI Tire Carrier
Shrockworks Front Bumper
275/70-17 Goodyear MTRs
17" American Racing Bajas
Sonoran Steel panhard drop bar

no, it was seriously dangerous and poorly made. i'm much happier now with just the OME and the body lift. much safer too!

is there a reason you chose not to do wheel spacers on the front?

thanks for the compliments. i put the front spacer on and had some rubbing issues on the plastic liner so i took them off. looked fine to me so i decided not cut up the liner and not run the front spacer. i am taking off the back spacer as well to see what it looks like and if its looks ok without i will have both for sale really soon.

New Tires

Was going to wait until the stock long trails ran out, but got such a great deal on TA KO's I couldn't resist

Before lift and tires:

After lift before tires:

After Bullbar, before tires:

New tires:

The LAST thing I want to do is tint the front. In a few years I may black out the rims and get some sliders.

Thanks to this site for all the great ideas! My wallet is quite a bit lighter, my wife is still pissed, but damn do I love this truck!

Bashed up my front end on a speed bump a month back - (got to update that thread) - and made the most of it by replacing the a-arms with some Camburg stuff as part of the overall fix.

Very slick parts from these guys. *notice that new CC - thanks Yota.

Other side.

Had some All Pro sliders on my old Ford - they made a universal kit years ago (7-8) but no longer offer that application. I like the kick out at the back that they have. I'll have to sort out this sway - no way will that happen again. As for the UCA - love em. The ride is super tight now.

OME Lift and Goodyear Duratracs

Just got my lift and new tires installed and am really happy with the results. Here's a photo from my first off road trip after the lift in the mountains in Colorado (the top of Wise Mountain outside Breckenridge):
