I found pictures of 285/75s on 4th gens online and they still just look like 33s or smaller to me. These big trucks need wider tires to make them look more significant lol. My tires look closer to 35s than 33s IMO

Yeah I know what you mean, some look decent and some look too skinny depending on brand & model. You get any photos from head on or from the back? Curious to see to see how the width/poke looks.

I'll get some tomorrow. I am also running 1.5" spacers up front and 1" out back so they definitely stick outside of the fenders. I think I like the idea of skinnier tires being easier to fit but I can't help but get the meaty ones every time lol

Yeah! Check the last page for a couple. Hope all is well John! Still loving it. I actually sold my 1 ton Tacoma lol. Didn’t need such a built truck anymore with a kid on the way. BUT I am putting some work into the 4Runner; simple tube bumpers and have Marlin sliders in the garage to start. Still need to pull the rear third member and see where the ARB is leaking but should be wheel-able pretty soon.

one of my few regrets in life, selling that 4runner Brian, but it went to the best possible home

miss it so much in fact, i needed a new one. this is my dream 4runner Trail edition in Shoreline Blue Pearl.

it'll be parked outside my house soon

Finally got my 33s on after sitting in the shed for two months. After 6 months of ownership, I love my v8 baby.

Looks sick! Besides taking off the mud flaps, how were you able to fit those 33's on?

new to me last week Trail Edition

kings with adjusters on all 4 corners, 285/70r17 Nitto ridge grapplers, Icon overland 3: lift coils in the rear (unloaded right now)

maybe i should have gone 35's? these look smallish.

kings are adjusted, 4 full turns on each side.

ironman 4x4 UCA's and panhard bar for KDSS kit go in next week

this is my dream 4runner y'all!

thanks
