Overall for the money this setup is excellent and would recommend it to anyone however, long term impressions are yet to be seen. I couldn't justify going beyond this kit cost wise as my 4th Gen is only used for weekend trips out into the desert and camping.
I am interested to see how it rides once I am able to put on the CBI front and rear offroad bumpers with tire carrier. I purchased the HD springs (
Front 885 & Rear 896) with the intentions of building out the rig and putting a rooftop tent on as well. Toytec does advise "
Med and Heavy coils are rated to handle additional weight from aftermarket bumpers, winches, and accessories and should NOT be used without stated weight already in or installed at all times. All lift figures are based on averages." which I currently do not meet however the ride is fine, at most a bit bumpy in the rear with no additional load yet and the spare currently removed.
I imagine once I find the time to throw on my complete RCI skid set and sliders this is help as the total weight added will be roughly 285 lbs. (No I don't care about weight)
Any questions feel free to ask and I am more than happy to answer them.
