Are you saying it needs additional spacers besides what comes with the kit to fit my OEM 17 inch wheels? I was thinking 285's since that's what RC recommends.

I will say, not a huge fan of those lifts. I'd go with at least a shock/spring setup if you plan to do any offroading.
To fit wider 285 tires, you'll need to get a wheel spacer (different from your strut spacer) that pushes the wheel further out in the wheel well. Otherwise your tire will not even be able to be mounted because it hits suspension pieces.
Thank you very much. No real plans of offroading. I like the look of a leveled 4runner. I'll end up going with the 265. Do you have a side pic of your 4runner with the 265? I assume that's it in your signature.

Here you go:
It has an Old Man Emu lift/Bilstein 5100s that should be up around 3" front and 2.5" rear

If you want to fill the wheel well a little more and keep stock wheels you can always get a tall/skinny tire like a 255/80/17. Do some research on the pros and cons though as I’m not sure of how they perform against say 285/70/17. I know lots of guys swore by them on this form a few years ago, they seem less prevalent now so I dunno.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with 265's to save on gas right now.

Nice looking ride. Personally, I don't think they look too small at all with 265. I had to go ahead and buy the new tires so I'll go with a 265 setup myself. Seeing your ride put me at ease. Thanks for sharing.

Loving the way it rides now, and honestly surprised at how quiet the DTs are! Looking forward to testing it all out through this winter in the Rockies.
Stock sizing, but they do rub when stuffed or reverse on flat ground?? Wouldn’t go back though.
