Got to camp and wheel in the mud this past weekend!

MTs were a must! I was the only guy in the group that didn't get stuck!

Beef man, I'm seriously considering the G003 as my next tire. Between that and STT Pro's

Can't go wrong with either, but you probably know my bias!

Looks great! I just ordered new wheels, and the same size tires as yours. I got Bilstein 5100 shocks. hopefully the wheels and tires fit with no rubbing at 2-2.5" of lift

That looks so good.. I have the exact same wheels and tires on the way right now. Bilstein 5100 shocks too, hopefully no rubbing. Love your truck man

Just installed new wheels and tires. 285/70R17 Toyo Open Country AT III's on Vision 354 Manx 2's. Turned out alright.

Removed XREAS and installed springs and shocks from a 2019 4Runner that only had 1000km on them. XREAS was leaking ans had a terrible ride. I disconnected the hydraulic hoses at the banjo bolts not the check valves. One circuit had zero pressure inside and the other had almost none.

The install went quite well. One of the front top hats was stuck in the frame and had to be hammered a few times, and one of the rear shocks broke the shaft when I tried to remove it. Other than that it was easy. I used a cheap spring compressor and had no problems at all. Felt safe the whole time, not a hand grenade like most people talk about.

The ride is so much nicer. I just bought the truck a few months ago so I don't know what the XREAS setup was supposed to feel like new, but mine was making bumping noises over tiny cracks in the road. 2in lift in the front measured at the skid plate, and 1in at the back. This is exactly what I was going for and will suit me fine for a while. Hopefully I can get 32's under it with no real problems.

BEFORE

AFTER

For anyone curious here are some pics of everything side by side. New springs have more coils but have the same free standing length. Thw spacer on top is .5in

The new rear springs were slightly taller than than original. The rear shocks surprised me being significantly longer. 7in travel on the new ones. I think 5100's are 8 something?

Camber seems fine but will take it for an alignment when I get new tires.

Just got some vision manx 2 and 285/70/17 Toyo open country At III's put on. Had to do some trimming. Alignment almost back in spec with stock UCA's at Firestone Tech said.

5100's all around set to bottom. 885 in front, superflex in rear. Almost want to put a top plate spacer to bring the front up a bit more, idk yet. What do you guys think is that a good idea.

Ive tried both and yes, they are pretty good! But I have switched to Patagonia MT. Huge difference, I like them much better.

Every time I watch Matt's Off-Road Recovery on you tube I convince myself I'm gonna get some Pat's lol. That banana is unstoppable.

Which did you like better between the Cooper and the Yokohama?

Seems like the Yokos would be better on the road based solely on how the tread looks lol
