4th Gen 4runner with 255/80R17 BFgoodrich HD Terrain KT

Just added new BFGoodrich HD Terrain KT on 255/80r17. Got about 2 inch lift in front and 2.5 rear with Dobinson coil overs and Bilstein's 5100 at 0 level. Original upper control arms and only rubbing front mud flaps when turning at full lock. Need to test with flex if something else rubs. I got the gen 5th snow flake wheels( 17x7 with 15 mm offset) no wheel spacers.

I hate that the rake is still present w/ the lift however I am chalking it up to the weight of the front bumper......

New set up coming soon...
Shrockworks front bumper...150lbs without winch.
Needs a 700lbs front coil spring to keep off the bumpstops if you ever offroad.

Anyone have Eibach suspension and sitting at 3"? Im currently on lowest perch on the front but want to raise it to the highest, only problem is im already kind of squatting in the rear with the eibach strut. Is the only way to lift the rear with either a taller spring or a spacer?

I have a dobinsons IMS lift, about 2.5 inches front and 1.75 rear. I also have JBA UCAs and double offset Superpro LCAs, so I have plenty of alignment adjustability. I'm now in the market for a wheel/tire setup. Are 285/75/17s worth it? With -10 offset wheels (17x8.5) from SCS what kind of trimming should I expect? I'm worried I'll regret going with a sub-33 (285/70/17 in load C comes out to 32.8 or so) and wish I went bigger, despite everyone running this size.

TIA

Any rubbing issues? Love the stance.

Hey, a few questions. Replacing shocks and springs soon. 180k stock.

1) I'm going with Bilstein 5100s shocks. At 180k, should I replace my stock springs?
2) I've read that 5100s can stress other parts of the suspension?
2) Should I do anything else while I have it apart? Something like replace the 1A 10 Piece Steering & Suspension Kit? 2008 Toyota 4Runner Front 10 Piece Steering & Suspension Kit TRQ PSA59529

1. I bought new springs (Toytec/Eibach) to go with the 5100s on my 2004 with ~180k. The OEM springs were worn out. I would recommend replacing the springs. The difference with new springs for me was night/day - level turns and no more nose dive when braking.

2. I didn’t need that 10 piece kit. I did have to buy aftermarket UCAs, but only because my front lift was ~3”.

In the pic below, I have a 3”/2” F/R suspension lift, a 1” body lift and 33” (255/80r17) tires. Overall, ~5” taller than stock.

Gorgeous. So that’s lifted in front and back?

Super interested in this. Any more pictures and/or thoughts? I'm looking at going to a 32" 255 tire. How does it look/drive without spacers? I would want to add spacers so long as it doesn't cause rubbing. Thanks
