Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!
So many great pictures of leveling kits, lifts and aftermarket tire combos scattered all over this site - let's get them all in one thread.
Got a lift and/or aftermarket tires?
Post pics and short description!
1. Lift brand & size/style
2. Tire brand & size
3. Like the results? or Would you do anything different?
Show me your lifts!!!
This is a great idea. So many people want upgrade tires or add a lift that we have many repeat threads that request pics/info about tires and lifts. This thread is now a sticky to help people get an idea of what might be right for them
If you have a lift and/or upsized tires please do as HammerSC suggests above and feel free to add a link with more details of your lift. If you have a specific question search, search using the Google trick here and finally, if that fails, start a new thread.
To those shopping for lifts, skim the T4R of the month. If you scan through the current and past T4R of the month thread the lift/tire combo is usually mentioned.
The goal will be to have work like the DIY mod sticky in the General Section. Thanks for participating
Chris (aka CJ3Flyr)
FYI- I have and will periodically go through this thread and delete some posts. I am deleting the posts that are text only and conversational in nature. I'm trying to keep this as a pure and clean lift/tire pic thread.
I'm not discouraging 'conversation'. I'm just going to clean it out after it's a week or two old... Chris

FJ Cruiser Offroad edtion coils and shocks(silver Bilstein). BFG A/T KO 265/75/16
cost: $100 for everything, include the complete assembled front strut assembly.
3/4" front, 1" rear. firmer ride, cheap and effective, done by 3 hours by myself in the drive way with simple tools.
FJC front shock assembly(silver) vs. stock SR5 (black): coils have same amount of wraps, but FJC coil has thicker wire.
FJC rear coils have 1 extra wrap, also thicker wire, but same length as stock SR5 4Runner unloaded.

Just converted from the Cornfed 1" Front Leveling Kit with stock Limited tires (265/60/18) to the Cornfed 3/2 Lift. Spidertrax wheel spacers, Michelin LTX A/T2 275/65/18 with XREAS preserved. There was no rubbing with these tires until I got the front end aligned. Now I've got a slight rub at the rear of the tire on the frame when cranked all the way. This weekend I'm going to try to adjust the camber a bit to move the wheel forward just a bit. If that works I'll be in heaven as I love the way it looks and drives. If that doesn't work, I am not sure what I will do. I cannot live with the tires rubbing since my son and I do some light offroading.

1. I leveled the front with 1" spacers (2"lift) from HERE
2. Stock Size Limited 18" Tires (265/60/18)
3. I wouldn't do anything different for what I have done so far. I plan to bump up the tire size when these wear out and maybe add spider trax.
I have a complete write-up including measurements and pics of this install here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...threadid=49954

I have stock Michelin CT's (265/65/17), FJCruiser springs in all 4 corners and 3/4" net lift Cornfed spacers in the front.Links with more info in my sig.
I've added 255/75/17 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armours. No rubbing, no issues, 35psi front, 33psi rear is awesome, mpg is up, mpg meter is dead-on, stock rims, no spacers. Tire link in sig.

cornfed 3/2
spidertracks on the rear (fronts rub on the body mounts when installed. once i get the body mounts chopped i should be able to run them)
FJ cruiser wheels 17x7"
295/70/17 nitto terra grabbers
love the ride. same as stock. road noise is minimal.
rear mud flaps have since been removed as they were quite close to the tread on the tires.
i tow with it and the setup works great. not a problem at all. super firm and doesn't rock or sway or float at all with 4000lbs or so behind it.
