Steel Wheels?

Does anyone know a source for stock size 17 x7.5 inch steel wheels for my 2004 4-runner SE? The alloys have corroded so much that the tire beads won't stay seated without glue. I don't feel safe adjusting the air pressure to 12 psi to drive on the beach anymore.

Thanks,

Phil

I'd look around on the various FJC forums. Many FJC's are delivered with steelies and upgraded. The FJC will give the T4R a slightly wider stance too (15mm/side, 30mm total).

Another source would be Tacoma rims. The Taco rims have the same offset as the T4R.

Yet another source would be steelies off of a last gen Tundra/Sequioa. They'll have the same offset as the FJC rims.

Will the offset difference cause me any alignment problems? Also, does anyone know if the pressure sensor transmitters from my 2004 T4R alloys will fit the FJ wheels?

Thanks,

Phil

sensors should transfer over, & if your worried about it, just get a new alignment. you might need to make sure the tires clear the bumper & inner fender if you change to wheels that give you a wider stance.( just trim & move forward)
